Selena Gomez concert in Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay

This is a compilation of my videos last July 31, 2016. Speechless. She was stunning and very pretty. It was her first concert in the Philippines and she nailed it! I was actually at the VIP Pit Zone, and it was indeed one of my most unforgettable moments. She was clearly an epitome of young talented & classy lady.

Revival Tour is clearly her revival and she even wrote her own song, Nobody. A worship song that is truly one of her best well-written song upto this date.

Hennan Resort Alona Beach

One of my favorite islands is this! Luckily, this is our honeymoon destination with my hubby. Let me give you a short introduction of this place that I fell in love with at first sight.

Bohol is a first income class island province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region, consisting of the island itself and 75 minor surrounding islands. Its capital is Tagbilaran. Bohol is the tenth largest island of the Philippines. To the west of Bohol is Cebu, to the northeast is the island of Leyte and to the south, across the Bohol Sea, is Mindanao.
The province is a popular tourist destination with its beaches and resorts. The Chocolate Hills, numerous mounds of limestone formations, are the most popular attraction. The formations can be seen by land (climbing the highest point) or by air via ultralight air tours. Panglao Island, located just southwest of Tagbilaran, is famous for its diving locations and is routinely listed as one of the top ten diving locations in the world. Numerous tourist resorts and dive centers dot the southern beaches. The Philippine tarsier, amongst the world's smallest primates, is indigenous to the island.

My husband and I were able to visit Bohol separately few years back. I've got no time to really spend in Panglao but I heard from a friend that their beaches are incomparable. Needless to say, we decided to go to places where we've never been and went to Hennan Resort (sponsored by our Ninong & Ninang from Singapore!)

Upon arriving, they will offer you a drink (for free!) I noticed that some areas were still under construction (way back 2015 oct), but then it was still a nice sight. It is considered to be the biggest resort in Panglao Island. The entrance will say so. With the room rates, you can check their website http://henann.com/bohol/henannalonabeach/. You can also follow their facebook for special promos that you can avail. Just a heads up, it's pricey but definitely worth it!

This is our view outside our room.

The Bellevue Bohol

I'd be real bias in this article. I love this resort! I made a reservation via e-mail. It was so easy to make a transaction as the agent I talked with is really accommodating. She replied within 24hrs and advised me how to make payments etc. We stayed here for 3 days (it was relatively short although I would have love to stay longer). Part of the service we availed was the transportation from and to Tagbilaran Airport. Kuya driver was there earlier and it was easy to spot him. He was friendly and nice and even gave us brief history of some tourists spots in Bohol. I might have known some of them because I've been to Bohol twice. Anyway, the ride to Bellevue was probably 30 mins or less. It was a little bit early and a weekday, yet the ride was smooth and no traffic. Upon arrival, they welcome you genuinely with smiles and necklaces.

The receptionist was also very kind. Since we arrived earlier before the check-in time, we had our lunch in their restaurant. One serving of their food is actually good for 3, if I could recall it correctly. The price was not that bad. Generally, it is what expected from this kind of resort. Later on that day we went inside the room, and I love it. My hubby and I agreed that it was bigger than the other resort :) :) :). I am fan of good interiors and the room was beyond lovely for me. I like the arrangement. The room has everything you need, TV, a small fridge, and yes, they will give you free peanut kisses, banana, and I forgot the other one (lol)-- on your first day. The rest of the days, you have your bottled water for free. They have food and drinks in the fridge but you have to pay for those. Of course, you will love their FREE WI-FI which is everywhere. They will give you your username and password the moment you check-in.

Just a heads up, afternoon time is usually low tide so you can't enjoy swimming at the beachfront. They have swimming pool (just one big infinity pool!), which is divided for kids and adults. My husband played volleyball in the pool with a Chinese guest. It was just fun to watch. They also have other schedules in the resort for sports, etc. During our stay, the resort was not that crowded so were able to use the pool but I bet it's another story if there are a lot of guests. The pool area can accommodate only a few people.

Kuya fisherman said these can be eaten with vinegar! Not so sure though. lol (tuyom)

My hubby and I enjoyed paddleboarding! I loved it!

Osmeña Peak

9/06/2016 ArgChlTravels 1 Comments

Located at Mantalongon, Dalaguete is the most famous mountain in the island of Cebu. I've seen pictures of Osmeña Peak from my friend's facebook years ago. And yes, I am no fan of walking, as in walking far distances. While my husband and I are just waiting for some things (rel. to his job), we decided to travel places. Not been exercising lately, I challenged myself to try hiking. (Can't really say hiking because it was so easy to get there! ahaha) I messaged my good friend, Canz, and asked information about the travel. Assuring me that I can manage, hubby & I decided to go there the next day. Thank God for great weather!

South Bus terminal - bus to Dalaguete Junction (Bato) 105php/each/way- Habal habal 100php/each/way. The habal-habal driver will wait for you in this place. You can actually see the top from here :) This is where the center is located. You have to pay for 20php/each to Ate for registration. You can hire someone from them to be with you during the hike. It was our first time so yeah, we requested for one. But personally, you don't need a guide. There is no other way to the peak but an obvious trail which basically means you can do it by yourself. Sharing is loving though. We paid the guide 100php but I've read an article that you can give as low as 50php if you want. However, this is local tourism so let's help them! This center has separate toilets. They're selling mineral water and souvenir shirts in this center as well. Our guide said some tourists stayed here so they can catch the sunrise. While other had tents with them and they had it there at the top (Not exactly at the highest peak).

This is our view down from where we were. This is around 7am or 6:30 am. Kuya said the sunrise was the best that day, although I would have wanted it, I want to keep it safe.

Exhausting. We took a break!

Mantalongon (where the peak is, is the vegetable basket of Cebu. Kuya Joy (Guide) said some of these are sent to Carbon Market but if you buy from here, it's relatively cheaper) You can actually see a lot of these on the way up.

After 20mins or less...

This is the peak!! I wasn't listening well but I think Kuya Joy said Moalboal can be seen from here. I bet my hubby is thinking if he can just get up and stop taking pictures. HAHAHA

He was actually telling me to stop standing in that area because yes, it was not that safe! I hope you find this blog informative, and before I end this, lemme share with you my infamous shot :)
